Double Play

Posted Oct 18, 2010

West Virginia has received two verbal commitments for its basketball class of 2001.

Point guard Ryan Boatright and forward center Pat Forsythe have made commitments to West Virginia, according to multiple sources.

Boatright, who visited West Virginia on the weekend of the UNLV football game (Oct. 9-11), fills a need for a point guard in the class. Forsythe, who was lightly recruited before garnering major interest on the AAU circuit during this summer, gave his verbal commitment after visiting WVU this past weekend.

Both players are expected to sign a letter of intent during the early signing period for basketball, which begins on Nov. 11.
