Thompson, a quick wide receiver from Katy, Tex., made West Virginia his choice after his team was knocked out of the state playoffs. He had more than 1,000 yards receiving during his senior season.
Thompson joins Danny McKinney, Devonte Mathis, Darreall Joyner, Devonte Robinson and Deontay McManus in the Class of 2012.
