The Dominion Post reported that the sides would actually sign settlement papers Tuesday morning. A public announcement should come later in the day.
A source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed the Dominion Post report to BlueGoldNews.com.
Multiple outlets, including CBSSports.com, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Charleston Daily Mail reported last week that both sides had come to a conditional agreement to end ongoing cases in both Rhode Island and West Virginia courts.
The Daily Mail indicated the Big East would receive a "cash value" of $11 million from WVU, while the Big 12 would contribute an addition $9 million to bring the total settlement value to $20 million.
