The combine, which will take place June 7-8 in Chicago, Ill., provides NBA talent evaluators the change to see potential draftees in person. The combine consists of a number of individual skills and testing sessions, as well as some three-on-three competition.
Kevin Jones is one of ten Big East players on the invite list. He averaged 19.9 points and 10.9 rebounds during his senior season at West Virginia. He played in 139 career games, and totaled 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds during that span. A sure-fire West Virginia Hall of Famer, Jones is the #5 all-time scorer and the #4 all-time rebounder at WVU. He is one of only four Mountaineers (Jerry West, Warren Baker, Lloyd Sharrar) to top both 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in their West Virginia careers.
The NBA Draft is set for June 28. Most projections have Jones targeted as a second round pick, but a good showing in Chicago could improve that status.
