Mountaineer forward Kevin Pittsnogle scored five points in just six minutes of action as the US junior national team routed Puerto Rico 106-72 on Monday.

Pittsnogle made two of six shots, including 1-2 from three point range, in the runaway win. He also had two rebounds and two turnovers in the contest. All five of Pittsnogle's points came at the end of the first quarter to give the US a 27-19 lead.

The US faces Lithuania on Tuesday.
