Bob Huggins expects a lot from a pair of transfers this year, as both Aaric Murray and Juwan Staten will figure prominently into the team's plans in its first Big 12 season.

Freshman Eron Harris said he thinks this WVU team could be one of the better shot-making squads in the Big 12 this year -- which would be a significant departure from the struggles the team had in that area in the Big East last season.

Few things in terms of style of play surprise Matt Humphrey now that he is in his third college stop in a third different conference. But getting used to the seriousness with which West Virginia approaches strength and conditioning has been an adjustment, he said.

Juwan Staten watched the Mountaineers play last season, and he said this group is much better suited to the uptempo style Huggins has said he hopes to play.

It's still early, but Terry Henderson said he is already starting to see what his role on this team may be.
