Individually, Burnett finished fifth in the 1650 free
(16:09.92), ninth in the 500 free (4:41.37) and 16th in the
200 free (1:47.36). She was also a member of the 200 free
relay team that took 10th (1:34.13) and the 400 medley
relay that finished ninth (3:42.37).
In the Big 12 rankings, Burnett ranks No. 1 in the 500
free (4:41.37), No. 1 in the 1650 free (16:09.92, No. 3 in
the 1000 free (10:03.84), No. 4 in the 200 free (1:47.35),
No. 9 in the 200 IM (2:05.18) and No. 9 in the 400 IM
(4:27.45).
Nationally, Burnett is ranked No. 9 in the 1650 free and
No. 12 in the 500 free.

The West Virginia women’s basketball team will face Marshall in the Chesapeake Energy Capital Classic in Charleston,
W.Va., at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 ... the Mountaineers will close out the week with a 7:30 p.m. game against St.
Bonaventure on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the WVU Coliseum.

first in two events for the Mountaineers in the 60-meter dash (7.75) and the 60-meter hurdles (8.86) … WVU took the
