West Virginia won on the road at Texas Tech on Feb. 2 thanks largely to defensive pressure in the early minutes of the game and again down the stretch when the contest got close. Guard Jabarie Hinds said sustaining that intensity will be the key when WVU faces the Red Raiders again on Saturday.

Coach Bob Huggins discussed what went wrong in West Virginia's loss at Baylor on Wednesday and the lack of consistency players have showed throughout the season. Bad luck has played a role in that as well, he explained.
