West Virginia got the sort of performance out of Deniz Kilicli that it has sorely needed, and coach Bob Huggins said if teammates had truly looked for him as often as they should have, Kilicli could have scored 40 in the Mountaineers' win.

Guard Gary Browne discussed the team's growing problem with turnovers, as WVU committed another 18 against the Red Raiders on Saturday. He also was asked about the impact Kilicli's offense can have on the guards who are so often relied upon to provide the team's scoring.

Kilicli, for his part, was pleased with his performance but didn't know what exactly to attribute his success to. West Virginia's senior big man did say that Tech had opted to guard him differently than most teams, and that he simply was able to take advantage.
