WVU head coach Randy Mazey and staff ace Harrison Musgrave agree that a rededication to his approach to the game, coupled with successful Tommy John surgery, have him pitching better than ever.

Mazey highlighted the performance of Harrison Musgrave, who despite the lack of his best stuff still recorded another five innings of shutout baseball.

Mazey noted that Musgrave's performance following Tommy John surgery and a rededication to the game have paved the way for his excellent showing to date.

For his part, Musgrave acknowledged that he didn't have all of his pitches working the way he wanted, but getting outs and limiting baserunners have been the key to his success on the mound.

Off the field, he noted that he lost a lot of weight and followed a nutrition plan that, combined with his rehabilitation, have him throwing harder than ever.
