Dibo became what appears to be the final piece of West Virginia's Class of 2013 when he committed to WVU on Tuesday.
Dibo, who was born in Ivory Coast before moving to Paris, France, was a natural talent who attracted attention while playing for an age-group French national team. He moved to the U.S.for his final two years of high school, completing his prep work at now-defunct Mountain State Academy in Beckley, W. Va.
Following those two seasons, he was set to sign with Kentucky, but saw his offer disappear in favor of Terrence Jones. Instead of joining the Wildcats, he moved on to Casper College in Wyoming, where he redshirted before playing the past two seasons. He finished this season averaging 18.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Like recently signed Jonathan Holton, he was a solid three point shooter, hitting 41.9% of his tries from the field.
BlueGoldNews.com will have more from Dibo soon.
