Steady Pace

West Virginia's football season ticket sales are on pace with that exhibited in the 2010-11 season, when approximately 34,000 were sold.

As of this week, West Virginia had sold 32,000 season tickets for its 2013 home schedule, which includes six games.

All told, WVU can sell approximately 38,500 season tickets to its home football games, so despite the steady pace there are still a number of tickets remaining. The remaining seats are split among several sections, including those in the Green and Family Fun Zones, which do not require a contribution to the Mountaineer Athletic Club. The Family Fun Zone is an alcohol-free section that is available on season ticket packages this year.

Additional tickets, in more desirable locations, are available in the Orange and Gold zones and require a donation. Those tickets require a per seat contribution of $125 and $250, respectively.

All season tickets are priced at $365 for the six home games.

Last year, West Virginia sold approximately 37,500 season tickets.
