Brandon Watkins was particularly efficient, scoring 17 pints on 8-9 shooting from the field. The incoming West Virginia freshman also made one of his two free throw attempts and grabbed one rebound.
For the second straight game, Terry Henderson was also an offensive force. He added 16 points on 6-11 shooting (4-7 from 3-point range), and also contributed three rebounds and three assists. He was the sole Mountaineer to sustain a turnover, suffering three on the evening.
Nathan Adrian and Brett Morris also contributed to the win. Adrian had an off shooting night (1-7/0-5), but hit the boards for six rebounds. Morris didn't score, missing both of his 3-pointers, but had two boards and an assist to help Peppers even its record at 1-1.
