Huggins Press Conference: Coming Together

For the first few weeks of practice, West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins has seen his team compete the way he wants them to.

But seeing his team play against one another doesn't truly give the veteran head coach a good look at what it will be like when they really take the court in a game once the season starts.

While Friday's open scrimmage at the Gold-Blue Debut won't be much different, it will give fans a chance to see the team while allowing a West Virginia roster full of newcomers to play in the Coliseum with a crowd for the first time. Huggins did announce during his press conference Wednesday that the Mountaineers will have a closed scrimmage next week against Ohio State.
