WVU players and head coach Bob Huggins met with members of the media Wednesday to give more thoughts on Monday's exhibition win against Fairmont State and look ahead to Friday's season opener against Mount St. Mary's.

Junior point guard Juwan Staten is going to be looked at as a big leader for this WVU team, and he is eager to embrace that role when the season starts. Staten talked a lot about the impact that the new rules will have on the number of fouls and the way games will be officiated.

Although freshman forward Devin Williams had just three points against Fairmont State, the Montverde Academy product and Cincinnati, Ohio, native isn't worried about his offense yet - it's something that will come along naturally. But Williams is an extremely talented rebounder, pulling down 14 boards against the Falcons.
