Monetary Breakdown

Milan Puskar's overwhelming donation to West Virginia University will be split among capital improvements and scholarships.

Of the $20 million, $5.5 will go to other schools and academic funds within the University, leaving $14.5 million to the athletic department.

Of that $14.5 million, $1 million will be dedicated to Puskar Center renovations, $700,000 to Coliseum renovations and other Coliseum facilities, and $800,000 to the soccer stadium construction. All of those projects had been previously announced by the schools.

The remaining $12.5 million will go to the Athletic Endowment Fund, which endows athletic scholarships. The total cost for scholarships is currently $3.5 million per year. The AEF's goal for a fully funded endowment of all scholarships is $80-90 million.
