Martinsburg native Kevin Pittsnogle broke out of his shooting slump in a big way against Seton Hall, scoring 24 points to lead the Mountaineers to a 69-64 win.

Our player of the game hit his first three three-point shots of the game to set the tone for his outstanding performance as WVU knoocked off Seton Hall. Pittsnogle was 6-9 from the field and added nine of ten free throw shots on his way to 24 points in just 24 minutes of action.

The West Virginia native was also impressive on the defensive end, playing the wing of the 1-3-1 defense in solid fashion. Pittsnogle also grabbed eight rebounds, and more importantly, secured the ball after grabbing three key rebounds late in the game.

Pittsnogle also had the key assist of the contest, finding D'or Fischer all alone under the basket for a dunk with 3:06 to go in the game. That hoop gave the Mountaineers a five point lead and put Seton Hall in a hole from which they could not climb out.

The 6-10 forward/center also had an assist and a blocked shot to round out his most impressive performance of the season.
