Big 33 Sneak Peek

Posted Feb 14, 2005

Three high school seniors who have signed football letters of intent with West Virginia University are reportedly on the Pennsylvania roster for the Big 33 All-Star Classic, according to Scout.com.

The game, which will be played on July 23rd in Hershey, Pa. pits 33 of the best players from the Keystone State against a like number from Ohio.

For WVU, running backs Ed Collington and Steve Slaton, along with wide receiver Carmen Connolly, are slated to play in the contest. The official rosters for both states are scheduled to be released later this month.

West Virginia has typically been well-reprensented in the contest over the last few years. Ohio product Ryan Brinson, who set several rushing records this season, is expected to be on the Ohio roster.
