Moss was undoubtedly hurt by his team's horrendous season. Winning only one conference game isn't the best way to get noticed by other coaches around the league.
Still, Moss' stats shouldn't be totally ignored. His numbers were earned against constant double teams and extra attention from opponents, and ranked among the league leaders.
Moss finished eighth in the conference in scoring and ninth in rebounding. Only Georgetown's Mike Sweetney and Notre Dame's Ryan Humphrey (both first team selections) finished higher in both categories.
WVU Freshman Jonathan Hargett, tabbed as the preseason rookie of the year, did not make the All-Rookie team.
