Jones moved to the semifinals with another victory at the NCAA championships today in Albany. With the win, Jones became the first WVU freshman to earn All-America honors.
Other Mountaineers still alive are Brent Miller picked up two more wins in the consolation bracket of 197, and Tom McMath at 165
Both Miller and McMath need one win to secure All-American status.
Billy Smith, Shane Cunanan, Joe Carr and Ryan Kehler were eliminated from the tournament on Friday after losses on Thursday dropped them to the wrestleback.
Carr dropped a tough double overtime match to Ohio State's Josh Janson in the third round of the wrestleback.
All three remaining Mountaineers are in action again this evening.
