WVU's Greg Jones is but one win away from an NCAA wrestling title.

Jones, wrestling in the 174 pound weight class, earned a 15-5 major decision over sixth ranked Rick Springman of Penn Friday night to advance to the championship bout on Saturday.

Jones now faces another Ivy League opponent in fourth ranked Greg Parker of Princeton in tomorrow's finals. Jones is 2-0 in his career against Parker, but both were narrow 3-2 decisions.

He will attempt to become WVU's third national champion and the first since 1994 when Dean Morrison took home the title at 177.

The Mountaineer team is currently in 13th place in the team standings with 34 points.
