Chris Gray Memorial Golf Tournament Announced

On Saturday, May 11, a golf tournament will be held at the Mountaineer Golf Course in Morgantown, West Virginia, with all proceeds going to the Chris Gray Memorial Athletic Scholarship.

Prizes will be awarded for the first three places in the four person scramble tournament. There will also be prizes for closest to the pins and longest drive, as well as prizes raffled off after the tournament.

The tournament will utilize a shotgun start at noon, and will be followed by a mixer at the Wooden Nickel catered by Colasante's. Cost is $75.00 per person.

Gray, a former Mountaineer quarterback, was lost in the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. In his memory, a scholarship in his name was set up at West Virginia University.
