Classroom Prowess

Three West Virginia University football players have been named to the District II all-academic team by ESPN The Magazine and CoSIDA.

Linebacker Jay Henry, a 4.0 gpa junior in finance, and offensive linemen Garin Justice, a senior with a 3.59 in teaching education and Dan Mozes, a junior with a 3.57 in communications, were named to the district first team. These three Mountaineers are eligible for Academic All-America consideration. Those teams will be announced December 1. District II is comprised of I-A and I-AA teams in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
