Gansey, Pittsnogle Headed for Orlando

Kevin Pittsnogle and Mike Gansey will reportedly play on Miami's entry in the Orlando Pepsi Pro Summer league next week, but their participation doesn't guarantee a spot at the team's training camp in the fall.

The Miami Herald reported that the WVU pair will play on the Heat's team in the opening summer league, which runs from July 10-14 at the RDV sportsplex in Orlando. Six teams will play in the event.

The Miami entry will face Charlotte, New Jersey, Chicago, Indiana and Orlando, in that order, during the five day event.

The summer leagues serve as initial tryouts for many undrafted players, as well as handful of end-of-the-benchers from last year's NBA teams. Other leagues are being held in Las Vegas (July 6-14) and Utah (July 17-24). Pittsnogle is slated to play for the Dallas entry in the Utah league.
