West Virginia alumni Kevin Pittsnogle and Mike Gansey got their first taste of the NBA on Monday when they played in Miami's 83-65 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats in the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando, Fla.

Gansey, who has signed a two-year contract with the Heat, played eight minutes, shooting 1-6 from the field, including 1-5 from three-point range, which accounted for his three points in the contest. He also had one rebound.

Pittsnogle played just four minutes, but did make his only shot attempt, a two-pointer. He had one rebound, one turnover and three fouls in his short court appearance.

The pair will play again today as the Heat face New Jersey at 3:00 p.m.
