Beilein, Young Earn All District Honors

WVU head coach John Beilein and senior forward Frank Young have earned spots on the U.S. Basketball Writers Association 2006-07 Men's All-District I team.

Young was one of ten players picked to the District I squad, which includes MainE, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Nine regions in all comprise the voting areas.

Beilein was selected as the coach of the year by the writers in the district.

The USBWA's selections are among the most prestigious in the country, as they are selected by media members who are dedicated to covering the game.
