It's the end of the Rich Rodriguez era for West Virginia, at least, as the Mountaineer head football cosch has reportedly agreed to become the head coach at the University of Michigan.

Several published reports, including this one, which came first from Scout.com, have the Mountaineer head coach moving on to Michigan.

Rodriguez was not available for comment.

Assistant head coach Bill Stewart will reportedly coach the Mountaineers in the Fiesta Bowl.

One unidentified player said that the team "was absolutely shocked" by the announcement, which came at a meeting earlier this afternoon.

BlueGoldNews.com will have more on this as it develops.
