Imminent Transfer

West Virginia basketball forward Jacob Green is transferring, and will leave the Mountaineer basketball team before the start of the second semester.

Green, a redshirt freshman, has seen little playing time for West Virginia this year save some stints in early season routs. True freshman John Flowers had clearly bypassed Green on the depth chart.

Green has apparently not made up his mind on a possible destination, although Fordham has been mentioned as a possibility.

Green appeared in ten games in 2007-08, but had just 75 minutes of court time. He had eight points and 20 rebounds, with three assists, four blocked shots and five steals.
