West Virginia's Joe Alexander, who left school a year early and became the number eight overall selection in the NBA Draft, signed his contract with the Milwaukee Bucks earlier this week. The deal, which will pay Alexander a total of $4.15 million over the next two years, is guaranteed.
With that detail out of the way, Alexander will participate with the Bucks' entry in the NBA Summer leage in Las Vegas, which begins on July 11. Twenty-one teams have entries in the event, which runs through July 20. Alexander and the Bucks will get their first taste of the action on July 12, when they face the Memphis Grizzlies.
