Armbruster was named to the
All-Tournament Team for the
weekend after she posted 29 kills,
39 digs and five service aces.
Armbruster captured two double-doubles
on the weekend. The first came in the win over
tournament host Winthrop as she posted 10 kills and
16 digs. Her second was in the Mountaineers’ victory
over North Carolina Central as she tallied 12 kills and
13 digs. The Mountaineers finished the weekend 2-1,
giving them a 2-4 overall record.
Four women’s soccer players were named to the
All-Tournament Team following the Mountaineers’ play
in the Tennessee Lady Vols Classic in Knoxville, Tenn. Amanda Cicchini, Greer Barnes (Defensive MVP),
Deana Everrett (Overall MVP) and Megan Mischler (Offensive MVP) were WVU's honorees.
