WVU junior forward Da'Sean Butler made his first appearance on the Big East honoree list thisyear for his performances in West Virginia's 2-0 week. He averaged 20.0 points and 5.5 rebounds as WVU knocked off Mississippi and Cleveland State to move its record to 6-1.
Against the Rebels, he tallied 22 points and 10 rebounds in the road win. He had a game-high 18 against Cleveland State. For the season, Butler leads WVU in scoring 14.6 ppg) rebounding (5.7 rpg)and steals (17).
