Ruoff Earns Big East Honor

Alex Ruoff rode a record-setting performance on the way to his first Big East player of the week award.

Ruoff scored a career-high 38 points in a win over Radford and followed with a team-high 17 points in a 76-48 win at No. 15/13 Ohio State. In the 38-point effort against Radford, the senior set a school record with nine 3-point baskets. He also had eight rebounds and five steals.

Against Ohio State, Ruoff shook off some outside misses to drive to the basket and score several inside hoops against the Buckeye defense. The loss was the first for Ohio State this year.

Alex Ruoff averaged 27.5 points for the week and is the team's top scorer for the season with a 17.0 average.
