West Virginia made a great start at filling the open slots at cornerback in the class of 2009 with the commitment of a Florida defensive back.

Michael Carter of Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Fla., made his announcement to West Virginia during the third quarter of Saturday's U.S. Army All American game in San Antonio. West Virginia beat out Florida and Minnesota, who were Carter's other two finalists.

Scout.com will have more from San Antonio today after the game.
