offensive charge with 17 points … the Charlotte, N.C., native also grabbed three rebounds and added one assist

14th-straight game in double figures, and Miles added 14 points off a 6-16 showing from the field … freshmen Natalie
Burton and Cynthia Fullard held their own against UConn’s vaunted frontcourt, as the duo grabbed six and four

The Mountaineers completed a training trip with Arizona … on the last day the Mountaineers and Wildcats
battled in a modified dual meet that saw the defending national champions defeat the Mountaineers … only two days
later West Virginia traveled to Pitt to take part in the bitter rivalry … although West Virginia was defeated by the Panthers,
there were a total of 19 first-place finishes for the Mountaineers.
