Even with a number of standout performances across the board for WVU, nobody was able to overtake another monumental effort from freshman forward Devin Ebanks.
The Long Island City, N.Y. native notched yet another double-double, this time with 14 points and 14 rebounds to pace West Virginia. Ebanks, a virtual lock if not a unanimous selection for the Big East all-Rookie Team, now has nine double-doubles for the season. The latest effort was the third time in four games he has accumulated at least 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Ebanks wasn't alone in the double-double category tonight. Junior forward Da'Sean Butler turned in his third of the season, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Kevin Jones just missed joining Butler and Ebanks, scoring a career-high 13 points and grabbing nine rebounds. After the game, Huggins lobbied on Jones's behalf, saying the Mount Vernon, N.Y. native should join Ebanks on the all-Rookie Team. With the performances Jones has been consistently turning in down the stretch, it's certainly hard to argue with Huggins on that point.
Alex Ruoff led the way with 20 points, and tied Kevin Pittsnogle atop the school list for career three-point field goals made with 253. Ruoff had six 3's for the game, and will almost certainly break the record before season's end as the Mountaineers have -- at minimum -- three games left.
While WVU didn't have the greatest night defensively, the Mountaineers did do an outstanding job in limiting DePaul center Mac Koshwal. Entering the game, Koshwal was averaging 13 points and nearly 10 rebounds per game.
Against West Virginia, the sophomore did not score, missing all five of his shot attempts, many of which were from point-blank range. Koshwal also grabbed just five rebounds, and was limited with foul trouble for much of the first half.
