Three Mountaineers Earn Big East Awards

West Virginia freshman Devin Ebanks was named to the Big East all-rookie team on Sunday -- one of three Mountaineers to earn league honors.

Devin Ebanks, who averaged 9.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game for the Mountaineers, was one of six players selected to the league's list of freshmen honorees.

Da'Sean Butler earned a spot on the five-man Big East second team. He had a team best 17/1 points per game for the Mountaineers, and averaged 6.1 rebounds per contest.

Alex Ruoff earned one of the four Honorable Mention honors awarded by the league. The senior guard averaged 15.7 points and totaled a team best 50 steals for the Mountaineers.
