“Joe is suspended indefinitely from all basketball related activities,” says Huggins. “We take violations of our team rules very seriously.”
Coach Huggins will have no further comment on the situation at this time.
Mazzulla missed the majority of the 2008-09 season after fracturing the growth plate in his shoulder. He underwent surgery earlier this year.
