Center Kevin Pittsnogle hit all seven of his field goal attempts from the floor, including both of his three point attempts, on his way to our player of the game honors.
Pittsnogle scored 19 points in only 28 minutes of action, and hit key shots at almost every juncture of WVU's 68-63 win over the Hurricanes.
Pittsnogle also had one of his best defensive games of the season. He battled Miami's Darius Rice and James Jones to a near standstill. Pittsnogle blocked a shot and snared five rebounds, and doubleteamed the bigger Hurricanes effectively in the post. Pittsnogle also hit three of four three throws down the stretch.
