Paperwork Issues

Posted Jun 29, 2009

Of the three incoming football players not reporting to West Virginia University for summer classes and workouts, two are simply facing administrative issues.

As first reported by BlueGoldNews.com, Curtis Feigt is addressing a visa renewal issue. Feigt, who thought he had completed everything successfully at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin earlier this month, had to resubmit a photo because the first did not meet required standards. He has resubmitted a photo and expects to make it back to the U.S. soon.

Fellow defensive lineman Tevita Finau is also awaiting completion of processes. He is awaiting the final posting of grades from an on-line course he took. Once that is complete, he will have to go through the admissions process at West Virginia before joining the team. There is not timetable announced for that process.

Finally, wide receiver Deon Long, who was once aiming for early admission, is still awaiting a test score from this year.

Those players arriving Sunday included:

Tyler Anderson
Shawne Alston
Stedman Bailey
Will Clarke
Darwin Cook
Dominik Davenport
Pat Eger
Terence Garvin
Daquan Hargrett
Nick Kindler
Josh Lider
Taige Redman
Chris Snook
Ryan Spiker
