It's not the first time in recent basketball history that West Virginia has cut down the nets after a championship in Madison Square Garden, but Saturday's ceremony following the Big East title was full of emotion.

West Virginia, of course, cut down the nets following its NIT championship in 2007, but the Big East conference championship will probably resonate longer for the Mountaineer program. Here's a look at some of the scenes from the Garden.
