Elijah Macon is back on the market.
A sophomore standout at Columbus (Ohio) Marion-Franklin, Macon originally made a verbal commitment to West Virginia, but this week he opted to back off of that pledge.
"Yeah he [decommitted]," All-Ohio coach Quentin Rogers told Scout.com. "He just said he wanted to open it up and look at some other schools."
As far as possible schools involved, according to Rogers, Macon has yet to develop a list of schools.
Macon, a 6-foot-8, 210-pound power forward, is rated as a four-star prospect.
