West Virginia offensive lineman Selvish Capers was was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the seventh round of the NFL Draft via a much traveled pick.

Selvish Capers, who measured in at six feet, four inches and 308 pounds, was selected in the 24th spot of the seventh round (#231 overall). The pick initially belonged to New England, but was swapped via trades to the Broncos and Eagles before finally landing with Washington.

The Redskins are very thin at offensive tackle, showing just Stephon Heyer at the position on their offseason roster. Washington also drafted Trent Williams of Oklahoma in the first round, but the numbers still appear to fall favorably with Capers, who should have a decent chance to make the roster if he can record a performance in line with his combine showing during Redskins camp.
