WVU's sophomore scorer tallied 22 points against the Hokies to grab our player of the game honors. Pittsnogle broke out of the funk he suffered against Rutgers by scroing 22 points against Virginia Tech. The Martinsburg native hit four of his nine three-point attempts and added two other field goals to go with a 6-9 performance from the foul line. Pittnsogle also asserted himself on the boards a bit, grabbing eight rebounds. More importantly, he protected the ball after getting those rebounds and did not allow the hacks of would-be Tech theives to take the ball away from him. Pittsnogle also added a steal and two blocks in 33 minutes of action as the Mountaineers came up short against the Hokies for the second time this year.
