Ruoff scored a career-high 38 points in a win over Radford
and followed with a team-high 17 points in a 76-48 win at
No. 15/13 Ohio State. In the 38-point effort against Radford,
the senior set a school record with nine 3-point baskets. He
also had eight rebounds and five steals.
Against Ohio State, Ruoff shook off some outside misses to drive to the basket and score several inside hoops against the Buckeye defense. The loss was the first for Ohio State this year.
Alex Ruoff averaged 27.5 points for the
week and is the team’s top scorer for the season with a 17.0 average.
