Rutgers quarterback Tom Savage threw for a career-high 294 yards in the 45-24 beating of Central Florida in the St. Petersburg Bowl. He completed 14 of 27 fr 294 yards and two touchdowns. Afterward, he talked about his first bowl experience, the play of several of his teammates and his role as a team leader heading into the offseason.
