Senior 2004: 1st Team All Big East selection. Berk average game grade of
80% was based on a tough scale. Winner of National Football Foundation $18,000
postgraduate scholarship as a graduate student in special education.
Junior 2003: 2nd Team All-Big East. Started every game played by the
Mountaineers. Started 5 games at Left Tackle (Wisconsin, East Carolina,
Cincinnati, Maryland, Miami) and 8 games at Right Guard. Earned Gridiron
Gladiator Award from coaching staff. Offensive Champion Virginia Tech
Sophomore 2002: Started every game for Mountaineers at left guard as WVU
ranked as one of the best running teams in the country. Offensive Champion East
Carolina.
Freshman 2001: Played in several games and started final three (Syracuse,
Pittsburgh, Temple) Offensive Award: Syracuse
