Biography:

2004: After making a good showing in spring camps, a shoulder injury ended up forcing him onto injured reserve for the season.

College: Racked up 167 tackles, 14 tackles for losses, one sack, four passes defensed, two INT as a senior at West Virginia on his way to consensus All-America honors. Started all 47 games he played. Set WVU career records with 492 tackles and 47.5 tackles for loss. Coaches voted him the Ideal Mountaineer Man award. Voted 2000 Big East rookie of the year by the league's coaches. Starter at will linebacker as a redshirt freshman. Second-team Freshman All-America from The Sporting News. Gridiron Gladiator Award from WVU coaches for on-field intensity. Named to the Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll. Majored in economics.

High School: Played at Perkiomen Valley High School in Trappe, Penn. Offensive player of the year by the Norristown Times-Herald. Named Pac Ten MVP, PCPV offensive player of the year and the Pottstown Mercury player of the year. Philadelphia Inquirer all-area team. Selected to play in the Ohio-Pennsylvania Big 33 game. Rated the eighth-best linebacker prospect in the East by PrepStar. Conference defensive player of the year honors as a junior. Pennsylvania Sports Fever Fab 85.
