| As a senior, Pryor was named The Associated Press Pennsylvania Class AA football player of the year. Pryor, a three-time all-state selection was named to the "Fabulous 22" team by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the "Terrific 25" by the Tribune-Review. Pryor was also named by both the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Tribune-Review as their Player of the Year.
Pryor amassed 3,691 yards in total offense -- remarkably, split almost equally between running (1,901 yards) and passing (1,790 yards) -- in leading the Jayhawks to a PIAA championship and a 16-0 season.
Pryor also accounted for a remarkable 60 touchdowns from scrimmage, rushing for 36 and throwing for 23. He caught a touchdown pass. He scored a touchdown nearly once every four times he touched the ball. On defense he had eight sacks and four interceptions
As a junior, Pryor was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22" team. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette also chose Pryor as its Player of the Year.
He rushed for 1,676 yards on 197 attempts (8.7 average). He completed 92 of 163 passes for 1,732 yards. He threw for 15 touchdowns and scored 29, including one as a receiver. He was named first team All-Conference by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Pryor is also being recruited for basketball. He plays guard for Jeannette and finished his junior season averaging 21 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and four blocks per game. "I'd like to try and do both sports in college, but we'll see."
Pryor: "I have a great vision and can use my athleticism if I have to. I move well and am really athletic. But you're never perfect and every time I step onto the field I'm try to getting better and better."
