2007: Irvin ws named second team All-Conference at defensive back after posting 24 tackles and one interception. He also averaged 16.5 yards on 29 punt returns.
Minor League Baseball: A 12th-round draft choice of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2002 and played minor league baseball for four seasons before deciding to return to football in 2006.
As a senior in high school he lined up at free safety and made 58 tackles to go with three interceptions. He caught 28 passes at wide receiver for 637 yards and 12 touchdowns.
