Biography

Mullen, a native of Lima, Ohio, was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter in the defensive backfield at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. He earned All-America distinction in 1989.

He graduated from Wittenberg in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and earned his master’s degree in athletic administration at Ohio University in 1993.

Mullen and his wife, Andrea, have three children - son Nate and daughters, Rami and Maggie.
